I Need To Surround Myself With Supportive People!

I have recognized that one thing I have lacked my entire life are people who are truly supportive and love you unconditionally.

I need people who recognize that the way you feel today, may change tomorrow and will stay, support, love, and encourage the BEST version of you! They will be the ones that see you hurt and will constantly uplift you. They will tell you to keep pushing and will cheer you on along the way.

They will be the ones that contact you, even if you haven’t reached out to you because they love you. They will wonder why you haven’t reached out to them and will show up on your doorstep to try to figure it out. I want people who keep asking me out and instead of getting mad that I don’t attend, come chill with me at home instead. I wanna open the door and they say, ‘Oh so you don’t want to go out? Well, we brought the party to you.”

I want people who can look past the “I’m ok” and know that it really means I’m struggling and may need a hug. I need people that recognize that I haven’t cleaned my room in weeks, or that I have fallen off my hygiene routine and helps me get back on track. I need people who know I love them even if one day I’m screaming, hollering, fighting them, and telling them to leave. That they will recognize that it’s coming from a hurt place and that I mean nothing by it.

I want to be surrounded by people who recognized that trauma hurts, and when people are hurt they tend to hurt others as well. Because these people will understand that who you are in the moments of pain, is not who you are in spirit, and they will constantly remind you of who you are, so they can have you back!
